PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The Client has up to 3 days after the reservation confirmation to make a 50% deposit. If the client fails to make the payment within this 3-day period, the reservation will not be confirmed and will be automatically canceled in our system. To reactivate the reservation, the client must check availability with our reservations center.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid at check-in before receiving the room key. Please note that payments made by credit card through the POS terminal incur a 5% surcharge, and payments via credit card through a payment link may include a service fee, depending on the proforma invoice amount, which should be confirmed with the reservations center.
If the client requests to cancel the reservation after making the deposit, no refund will be issued.
To request a date change more than 7 days after reservation confirmation, a 5% penalty of the total reservation value will apply. In cases of date change due to major reasons such as health issues, only a valid legal medical certificate will be accepted to waive the penalty. The hotel will provide a deadline for the client to select a new date. If the new date is not selected within the given deadline, rescheduling without penalty will not be possible.
The date change will consider the conditions and rates corresponding to the season chosen by the client. If the client selects a date with a higher rate than the previously booked period, the client must pay the difference according to the current rate.
NO-SHOW POLICY
If the client fails to show up, no refund will be issued. A valid medical certificate is required to request a date change. No-show cases are subject to the same conditions as the cancellation policy described above.
RESERVATION TERMS
By accepting this reservation, the client agrees to our accommodation policies, which govern the relationship between the guest/client of Hotel Miconia & Sea Side regarding pre-reservation, reservation, stay, and check-out services.
Using our services implies acceptance of the terms and conditions imposed by Hotel Miconia & Sea Side, which are automatically incorporated into the contract between the client and the hotel without requiring written agreement.
After a client requests a reservation, Hotel Sea Side will provide a proforma invoice and a reservation code based on the information provided.
If the client books through tour operators or online platforms, the reservation code may differ from the one issued directly by the hotel but remains valid.
Reservation requests made directly or via tour operators are non-binding and do not constitute a contract. The hotel reserves the right to deny the reservation at its discretion.
Hotel Sea Side guarantees room availability only for the reserved category, not a specific room.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Hotel Sea Side will provide the client with a room of the selected category from the reservation confirmation date. If booking directly at the reception, the room will depend on the desired category and availability, with check-in starting at 1:00 PM.
Upon arrival, any outstanding balance must be paid immediately.
On departure, the client must vacate the room by 10:00 AM.
Failure to vacate by 10:00 AM will incur an additional charge equivalent to one night’s stay. The client may use the room during this period only if it is available; otherwise, the guest must pay the penalty fee and leave promptly.
TERMS OF USE
Only the persons listed in the reservation are authorized to occupy the room.
Guests must not damage or neglect hotel facilities.
Guests must respect other clients and follow hotel conduct rules. Misbehavior or disrespect may result in expulsion without refund.
Restricted areas of the hotel are off-limits to guests.
Cooking food brought from outside is prohibited in rooms or common areas.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Guests are fully responsible for their belongings and should use the in-room safe provided.
Pets are not allowed.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
Smoking of any tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited. Guests must confirm acceptance of this policy at check-in.
The hotel is not responsible for items not under its custody. Personal safes are provided in each room.
Guests behaving aggressively or threateningly may be expelled.
Alterations to rooms or common areas are prohibited.
Storing dangerous items (weapons, explosives, flammable materials, or psychoactive substances) is forbidden.
Selling goods on hotel premises is prohibited.
Excessive noise or inappropriate behavior disturbing others is not allowed.
Quiet hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Guests must respect others and comply with hotel rules.
In case of damage, theft, or loss of hotel property, the client will be charged the full replacement cost.
